Commitment to not using hydrogenated fats

All of Bellsolà's baked goods are made without the use of hydrogenated fats, thus meeting the requirements set out by the Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity Prevention (NAOS) Strategy:

In 2005, the NAOS Strategy was launched by the Ministry of Health and Consumer Affairs through the Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN), with the aim of raising people's awareness of the problem that obesity represents to health, and to encourage all initiatives that will contribute to getting people, especially children and youth, to adopt healthy living habits, mainly through a healthy diet and regular physical activity.

The elimination of trans fats in accordance with the NAOS Strategy:

Hydrogenated fats are harmful to health because they raise the so-called "bad" (LDL) cholesterol and lower the "good" cholesterol (HDL), besides other harmful effects on children such as delayed growth and brain maturation and the risk of cardiovascular disease. Therefore, eliminating hydrogenated fats from food products means aligning with this strategy.
